The role: Marketing Manager, Consumer Marketing (Indonesia)

As a Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing strategy and execution for one or more of Google consumer products, and be responsible for driving product awareness and usage. You are expected to have a deep understanding of the local consumer, local media scenario and how technology is being used in marketing today. Based on this understanding you’ll be designing and executing promotional campaigns, working with various cross-functional teams to launch new products/features, liaise with partners on co-marketing initiatives, and work with external agencies like ad and media agencies, market research firms and event managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and implement marketing strategy for one or more of Google's consumer products.
  • Design marketing campaigns using online, offline and co-marketing activities keeping in mind user behavior, competition and macro-economic scenario.
  • Develop success metrics and set outcomes for all campaigns to closely measure and track the ROI on the marketing spends
  • Create narratives and define value propositions for the various Google products and therefore share compelling product stories with the users
  • Continuously understand user behaviors and usage preferences by commissioning regular market research studies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 5 years of experience in marketing with FMCG, consumer durables, telecom or consulting companies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in national campaigns execution across different media like TV, print, radio, cinema, outdoor, online, mobile etc
  • Experience in designing marketing campaigns, handling advertising agencies, and a good appreciation of media planning, market research and direct marketing
